My latest by Ray Kirk. Oosti folder in buckeye burl and 52100, about 3 3/8. On the bottom is the whole kit and kaboodle of Kirks. Another Oosti in ironwood and damascus and two Scagel's in 52100, natural micarta and buckeye burl.

Great knives, great guy! (And owned by a great guy as well!)

I like your new knife a lot, Rob, but I love that micarta one. Ray sure does great work.

I agree -- that pinned micarta one is excellent! Old Bill Scagel would probably have loved micarta - after all, he used old bowling balls as the source of some of his spacer materials.

Sorry Larry, didn't mean to bring up painful memories of knives that slipped away. I know all to well how that feels. :D

And these things cut like there is no tomorrow.

I have owned a Ray Kirk Scagel, and still have a Ray Kirk Pocket Medicine Blade, and they are really fine knives with razor sharp edges. Ray is one heck of a nice guy. Thomason ain't exactly chopped liver either. :D

I have his first folder with the MS stamp :D also a 52100/buckeye burl. I would like to get an oosti when he takes orders. technically I'm AD, but only for training, not a deployment.
