So not that long ago I bought another knife from Ray. A bush craft model with a 5in blade. I love its great. I than decided I wanted the same knife but with a 4in blade and a little thicker. I just got this little power house in the mail today. Its great. Just enough blade and also has some weight to it cause of the thickness. Here are some specs:
1095 steal at 3/16" thick.
Natural canvas micarta handle
and he also made me a leather sheath, hor. carry. Here r some pics from Ray. I will also add some soon.
U da man Ray.
Thanks Alot

I think it's physically impossible for Ray to make a bad knife . They just flow and are always awesome cutters

I like the blade profile on this one

What is the blade grind?

It's always hard to tell from pics, but how oval are the handle slabs?

So many questions :D

Kind regards
Mick

I took my Laconico Unscandi Bushcrafter out last weekend... went to Iowa for a bushcrafter class. The knife was amazing. I need to talk to him about getting another.

I have two of his. A 4" Kephart in Ironwood, and an EDC 3.5" in natural canvas. They see the most use (if not all the use) of all my blades. I have actually considered getting rid of everything else. THAT'S how good they are

G'day Guyon

Congrats! I'm loving my 3.5" version.

I also really like the profile of this blade :thumbup:

Any chance of a pic taken from the end of the handle that shows the overall profile of the handle (ie whether it is oval or not)?

Kind regards
Mick
