This one was in the mail waiting for me today, I was curious to give one of his folders a try since I like the two fixed blades I bought from him so much.

It's flawless, Ray really has his quality control honed to a fine art, simplicity at it's finest.

Does anyone else have one of these? I'd like to see one with some use put to it, although mine isn't going to stay perfectly shiny for long with that O1
steel;) there aren't many folders made with carbon so this one is pretty unique.

I love the knives that Ray is doing. I wish I would have picked that one up. Just a beautiful knife. Enjoy it.

I have one also.

It's a great knife. Great f&f,very smooth action. I haven't used it much because I don't want to mess up the steel though. I hope he makes something with stainless in the future.

patina is not messing the steel it's giving it a life. patina is beautifull, patina is life .... :D

more seriously i wish i had more modern looking folders with carbon steel blades. i love my gayle bradley for this reason even if m4 doesn't actually react like a simpler carbon steel.

btw those folders really look nice.

Nice looking knife SteelSnob! I like the blue and black G10.

Ray put a couple of small sheath knives up for sale in S30V a few days ago, I wonder
if he'll put together a folder in that later on... Time will tell I guess.

Personally I don't really mind the discoloration that carbon steel acquires but it's kind of
a pain keeping rust away. It's easy to sharpen and durable though.

I have been able to inspect quite a few of his folders (he lives a couple miles from me) and they are all flawless.
