Ray Skin+Aluminum=?Epoxy?

I want to put a leopard ray skin insert in my MUDT.
What epoxy should I use and what is the best method for the best bond?

I plan on acquiring the ray skin the old fashioned way...catch the ray...skin it...

What is the best way to "tan" this skin to preserve color and durability?

Might wanna go to www.tandyleather.com and see what they have available or email them and ask about tanning ray skin. I know they sell kits for snake skins and deer hide tanning.
