Mastersmith Ray Smith barlow- ATS-34, about 3 5/8, a bit of file work and a bit of pinch to the bolster, half stop, just a whisper of a swedge, and a couple of beautifully figured pieces of end grain sawn (sawed?) spalted maple. A really well done knife.
Got this one over in the sale forum from Praxis. Thanks Ben. And thanks to you Mr. Ray Smith.

Really a beautiful barlow. Congrats Rob. I do not think I have ever seen a nicer wooden handle than that one.

Congrats, Rob. I knew you'd enjoy his work!

You were right, Blues, I should have listened better when you first told me about him.
I don't think I expressed how much I like this one in my original post. I should have used more of these gizmos - :D:thumbup::D:thumbup::D:thumbup::D

I agree that the knife is very well done but the lumber covers on her really is the cherry on top of the Barlow cake..

And, she belongs as an addition in the old Barlow thread too. :)

Really nice Barlow, I have one from Ray, but it is with my ugly scale material that I furnished. I asked him to use it and he did a fine job, now I wish I had let him use what you did. Great knife Rob,
Congrats,
Jim
