I had this flashlight for years, 14 bucks and running strong:

You can pick it up at here if you want, I would definitely recommend getting one of these:

rayovac makes great lanterns too. i have the Xtreme 300 lumen one and the much smaller 60 lumen one.. very nice quality for the price..

I've been using their rechargable batteries for a while now,the seem to last ok and they cost about half of what other rechargable batteries do.

I actually had one of their AA's leak into one of my 4 Sevens lights and destroy it. I did read on the back of their packaging that they have a guarantee that they will replace any item that their batteries ruin. So I figured "why not?". I figured that there was a good chance that, like most companies these days, they do not actually stand behind their guarantees/warranties, and that they would just send it back with something like "sorry, it's not our fault, you shouldn't have left that battery in your flashlight overnight", however to my surprise, about 2 weeks later I got a check for the full price of my flashlight + shipping. They also sent me a pack of 4 new batteries with an apology letter. Pretty sweet deal. Now the only alkaline batteries I buy are Rayovac.

I was using their alkaline before I started switching over to rechargeable batteries and had very good luck with those also.

Wow, now thats what I like to hear. Sounds like they really stand behind there product.

Um, couldn't you beat it with batteries that didn't leak in the first place?

Really?

I'm sure he used them to start off with just because he knew they were going to leak on him. Yep...

Pretty sure he was referring to Rayovac's customer service and the ability to stand behind their warranty.
