razor #6

this is the 6th razor i have done now this one is all but 15/16 size
this time its cpm154 blade Ti scales and stabilized amboyna burl (a little more classic looking)

im going to work on getting a few better shots of her later tonight but

butch...totally wicked to the tenth degree....if i wasn't scared to shave with one it'd definately be on my list....ryan

you know i could stop in tomorrow and show it to you. give me good reason to see the other blade you have with my name on it. see how its holding up and what mods to look at for my kitchen stuff in the future
 
VERY cool indeed. I like old vintage razors but yours is just awesome.

Beautiful piece, Butch. I never realized that razors could be so visually
amazing. Strange, there is something very sexy in this one, in a slightly
frightening way.

Please forgive the steelnerd question: How does CPM154 hold up as a razor steel? I've heard nothing but good things about it for kitchen knives, but wonder how it compares to W2 carbon or 13C26 stainless.

Whether it's better, not as good, or just as good but different, that razor looks totally cool!
 
Holy crap Butch that's AWESOME! Very nice execution and a really striking appearance as well. I better swing by and see that one before it vanishes! :)

deker i l hold it a bit for you to see + your 2 inch wheel is here

and for the size wheel i ground it on i use a 2 inch and grind the blade way back
