I am in the process of getting a custom razor blade knife by Ray Rogers. From the pictures and descriptions from his site this looks like a very well made blade. I am wondering if anyone have any suggestions or input on the razor knives and how do they like it?

Thanks.:p

All his knives look very nice. I like the nostalgic look of the Rayzor. It is different from any other piece I have seen. What do these go for, if I may?

These are beautiful knives, and the razor is a beautiful piece. But are you buying to collect or actually use it to shave? Shaving with one of these is a real exercise in honing skills. You're either going to get real good real fast, or you're going to hurt through a lot of shaving! Razors (for shaving) are one of the few areas where the modern technology of even the $0.50 disposables far surpasses what can be done with a real straight razor... YMMV of course...

Well ,I used the excuse " Shaving " to get my wife to OK the purchase! In my mind I understand this tool is for defensive use and not for the actual shaving need! I always think that a razor blade is an awesome weopen in a skill hand and this blade is well made and looks very strong and works like a regular knife. I ordered the one with Carbon Fiber from Bladeart and they still have another one with jigged bone left. If you order from Ray Rogers there is a 4-6 months wait!

Once I receive this I will do a simple review on the whole thing.

Thanks.:p
