Anybody have any experience with these? How coarse is the coarse hone? Do they work well and last a decent amount of time?

I have both the coarse and the fine. The coarse looks and feels like it's about 100 grit, but I'm sure it is finer. The fine feels like 400. Both work just as well as sandpaper, which is pretty much what they are. They seem to wear out after about 5-8 knives. I've only gone through one of the fine hones. The coarse was too rough for my needs. It does have two advantages over sandpaper;
It is produced on heavier stock
It has an adhesive back
It's a product I bought once, and would not buy again. It works, but wet/dry sandpaper works as well and comes in grits more to my liking. Probably the best feature to it is it's adhesive backing. You can mount it on a tackle box or truck fender so it's quite handy.
