Razor-inspired knife

Well finally, after a very busy summer, I have been able to work on a new project.
It is my third Razor-inspired knife and this is by far the most elaborate yet.

The blade is Damasteel with a special kind of twist pattern.
Snakewood scales over fileworked bronze liners with whale cheekbone center. The bronze liners took what seamed to be forever to complete!
I also tried to do domed pins for the first time ever.
As I don't have any experience with that or the proper tools, it was interesting indeed!
I hand sanded the pins to exact length and domed them by hand as well. (I should really get the proper tools for this )
Worst of all was glueing all pieces of the knife without having glue escaping everywhere!

Anyway I am quite happy with how it came out!
But a friend is not convinced I should make a box for it since there might not be a need for it.
I, on the other hand, thought that I would rather keep this in a nice box than carry it in a sheath.

Your thoughts about this are, as allways, very appreciated!

Edit to: box is all done...

Awesome collaboration of diverse materials, outstanding outside the box work I have come to expect from you.

It reminds me of a very upscale version of a Perrin Street Cleaver. I love it! Great meld of function and beauty- enough embellishments to add to the piece without being garish, and looks like it would be friendly to use! I wish I could afford something like that, or have the creativity to conceive the additional features that complete it. Thank you for showing it to us.

P.S. I think a Kydex lined leather neck sheath would be perfect for that.

Another cool item, Magnus. A really good-looking razorknife!

Best,

Bob

ps: I still love my icepick!

Exquisite Magnus! The materials and style came together perfectly. AWESOME damascus and snakewood.

It will be interesting to see how you complete the package.

Thank you!
Well Kydex is good but the blade gets "scratched" by it so I would have to line it with leather if I were to make one.
