This odd knife was interesting to make, not to mention the sheath, it forced me to think in some new "directions".

The maker of that blade is from Denmark and his name is Finn Hampenberg .
D2 steel hardened to 60hrc and hand finished to 600 grit.
It is 190mm / 7½" oal, cutting edge is 60mm / 2 1/3", D2 steel
Filework and slight modifications by me.
Handle is made from stabilized "curly" stonevine(silvervine) and nickelsilver.

Not quite finished yet, some polishing and I might go to higher grit finish on the blade as well.

Please let me know what you think.

I love the unique shape. I think the design holds many different possibilities for modifications. Perhaps a tactical version or maybe a kerambit.

that sheath is most excellent. I'm not usually one for razors but I like that a lot.
