Hey Folks,

Just spotted this over on the Hoodlums forum: an 8" beauty from Scott Gossman of razorback Knives, sent to Ron Hood. Ron has used and abused almost every blade out there, and for him to be this impressed says a lot!

Scott, looks like awesome work! I'll hafta get ahold of one of these myself soon!! Link here:

Best,

~Brian.

Thanks Brian, I'm looking forward to hearing more feedback from Ron. :D This will shed some more light on the performance of D2 in the large wilderness blade catagory.

Ron does some of the best review's out there, If he says it works it's good enough for me .It looks like she is holding up great , nice job. :D

Scott makes a beautiful blade, but obviously it is a WHOLE lot more than just good looks.

Congratulations Scott. :D

Robbie Roberson :)

Given the uses Ron has for a blade, I have no doubt your knife will be used hard, and I have no doubt it will pass!!
Nice looking knife and sheath.

Congratulations Scott, as much as one can know something to be true, its always nice to hear it confirmed by a knowledgable third party

Thanks everyone, I appreciate the kind words. I've always been a fan of Ron Hood and have enjoyed his wisdom and expertise when it comes to the outdoors. I feel like I've just been blessed by the Pope. :D In all seriousness, it is an extreme (there's that word again) honor to have him evaluate one of my blades. This is very exciting to say the least. I'm really looking forward to more of his feedback.
Scott

Congrats Razorback ! I've been reading Ron's articles for a few years now , in various magazines and online , the man is pretty much a legend. :)
Glad to see he thought highly of your blade :)

Take another look at the thread linked above: Ron used the heck out of Scott's blade and had some awesome results to report!

Scott, can't wait to get my grubby hands on one of your knives soon!

Best,

~Brian.

Brian, I damn near fell outta my chair when I saw what Ron put that blade through. It's really interesting to hear what the real (Brian, you know what I mean :D ) experts do with their bladeware in the field. This is just too cool. :D
Scott

It really did not surprise me at all, I knew his knife would shine. :D

The bottom line is this, they are hand made knives by someone who has really tried hard to perfect his skills and craft.

Obviously he has done it, congradulations Scott. :D

Robbie Roberson ;)
