Rc-10

it's going to be a kerambit with a 10" blade made out of 440A with stag scales.

Only Jeff &/or Mike can answer this because it is their show. That said Jeff has already given some details in a couple of posts over the last 2 weeks.

Here is one of the posts http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=662886

I thought that he said something about ivory scales on the RC10 but it was really late at night and I could have gotten it all confussled.

Ivory?? LOL that would be hilarious on a hard use knife. I'm guessing something like the rtak but better. Hopefully a little less tall and a little more thick.

The ideal chopper specs in my mind are 10" long 1 1/2 tall and .250 thick with a full flat grind. Full tang, micarda scales and a small choils for chokeing up. The do it all knife. That would be awesome.

I believe someone has stated it is going to be 3/16 thinck, not 1/4.

I hope not . Then it's going to be just like the rtak. The three things I don't like about the rtak are that it's too thin , too tall and made by Ontario. I think a blade that long should be .25

To me a knife like the trailmaster without the hilt and with a full grip tang is a complete do anything blade.

Or think of it like a dogfather with a full grip tang instead of. The res-c grip. How awesome of a blade would that be.

Honestly guys, we are going to do our best to bring this knife in as cheap in price as possible. It will be very similar to our RTAK design but not exactly the same. It is going to be 3/16" thick and it's not going to have a recurve.

There is the verification.

I think it will be a great blade, no matter the thickness.

I'll be interested to see how it turns out. One of the things I like about RAT knives is that they are very functional and designed to be used in real-world applications. 3/16" or 5/32" is a great compromise between strength and weight. I'm hoping the RC-10 will be a user .

Here is a pic...

Really looking forward to the RC-10 :D

I am sure RAT will nail it (like they nail everything else).
