RC 3 Mil Lanyard/Sheath and Handle

Looking to dress up my New RC 3 Mil with some lanyard maybe on the sheath and some kind of 550 cord on the handle loop with a skull bead attached.

I was looking on Ebay for the skull beads but do not know what size beads to get that would fit the 550 cord. Any help with the bead size and and designs would be appreciated.

550 paracord is 1/8" diameter. However, the diameter you would need would also depend on whether or not you pulled the inner core out. There are several sites that sell para cord and beads both so you might want to search out some of those. para-cord.com is one if I remember right. I know there are lot if you just google it.
 
Most pewter lanyard beads like the Emerson, those from www.thelanyardzone.com, www.tadgear.com & www.schmuckatelliCo.com have a hole opening that is about 3.5mm-4mm. That is large enough to take 550 paracord, however on a lot of them you will need to take the inside 7 strands out. Another good site is www.lighthound.com

I've made a lot of lanyards using 550 cord and using all of those manufactureres skulls.

Thanks for the links. I'm new to braiding laynards too and just got an order in from lighthound. Very fast shipping!! I picked up a few white plastic and a pewter skull to work with. Good lucK!

I've placed orders with all of those sites. I've had no issues with any of them. They all shipped quick, and items were as described.
