RC-3 & RC-3mil

i was really thinking about getting the rc-3 and i wanted to know what the difference between the two are. i still dont understand the difference. would you consider the RAT knives to be good self defense knives, other than the fact that they are extremely sharp. thanks.

RC3 comes in black blade w/Black linen micarta ,Tan blade with canvas micarta , OD Green Blade with orange G10 with modified pommel (rounded off) or glass breaker pommel(pointed)
RC3MIL has black blade Canvas micarta scales and sharpened pommel and serial number

i guess the problem is that after four pages of searching because so many topics are brought up, you dont seem to find it. but i appreciate the kind remarks. is that really the only difference then between them? what is the sharpened pommel? is that the glass breaker? thanks.
 
yeah, i definitely like the glass breaker on my knives. thats one thing i liked about the Gerber Asek.
