While out doing some field pictures for a project I decided to prove myself wrong by making a decent fuzzy with only the serrated part of the blade.

There some nice little curls on the ends of the big curls.

Nice work Ruben! The RC serrations IMO are some of the best cut, very usefull. Im still a PE guy, but, its nice to see it can be done...

bear, you never done this before?!
Nice pics as always!
Don't really have too many serrated blades that are not folders.

told you RB the Serration will make great fuzz sticks
I just never saw any good fuzz sticks made with them, not that these are anything great but definately useable. Give me a plain edge and you will see some fuzzies.
That worked really well but im still a hard headed plain edge fan.
Me too.

Actually the TAK and RTAK were the first knives I bought because there were no serrations, and here we are!:)

:D you did good ,does not need to be pretty or a work of art just curls fine enough to catch a spark and go from there..:thumbup:Yep with a PE you are a mean fuzzy stick maker bro,you have mastered that art greatly !!:)

I also like to use serrations to strike fire steels. They work great when you have stubborn tinder and really need to get a helluva lot of sparks in the pile.
