Well, I got drunk the other night and ordered 1000 ft of paracord and a RC-3!
I shouldn't be allowed near a computer when intoxicated because I just buy whatever I've been wanting.

That said, I really doubt I'll regret purchasing the knife. I've only heard good things about it. However, what will I be doing with 1000ft of paracord!? Lol.

There's one question I had about the knife. I'll be using a Lanskey sharpening system for it and didn't know what angle to use. Could somebody help me out on this one?
 
Next time when you're drunk go to the CRK website and order a bunch of Sebenzas. :D :thumbup:

Factory edge is close to 20 per side. They are done by hand so vary a little. Use the 15 to knock the edge off the bevel then use the 20 to make the cutting edge. Gives you a gradual transition into the blade thickness. Slices food better that way.
 
I did that once ( got hammered) and woke up to a pile of payal notes and order confirmations in my inbox. Needless to say, everyone got machetes for Xmas this year.
 
I got an rc-3mil coming to me aswell. wasn't drunk when I ordered it, but I had 40.5°c fever though!
 
wow 1000ft! you could cord wrap everything you own :eek: well you are going to really like the knife regardless. :D
 
Congrats on your new RC-3Mil! I have the Lansky diamond system and use the 20 degree on all of my RAT knives, they do come 20 degrees from Rowen. It works great so I know you won't have any problems. Look into getting a leather strop so you can fine tume the edge after you sharpen it, it will put an amazing edge on your blade. I don't have any suggestions on the 1000 ft. of paracord, maybe you can build about 10 survival kits and 10 bug out bags and split it up that way.

I bought 200 feet and can't imagine using it all for a couple of years.

The RC-3 will be my next RAT also. You won't be sorry you bought it.
