Nice compare on the sizes of the two.

While compared to the RC 5, the RC 3 may seem small and fragile. The thing to remember is, the RC3 is 'normal', and the RC 5 is just that massive.

I agree!

From my experience with knifes, the RC-5 is just too heavy and thick for what I use a knife for - hunting, hiking, camping, bushcraft, EDC etc.

My RC-4, which is the same thickness as the RC-3, sure does not seem fragile! In fact, I concider it one of my toughest knifes.

RC 4 is slightly thicker than the RC 3
