Yes, a few of them escaped and made it to Australia. Big thanks to John from RusticForgeKnives.

All my other knives seem to have nothing but contempt for these two (I think it's a common complaint), because since I opened the package of RAT stuff last week NONE of my other knives have had a look in. :D

While I haven’t had a chance to properly put them through their paces, so far I'm truly impressed with these guys. The RC-4 just feels so balanced and solid, but by no means cumbersome. The Izula punches well above it’s weight, I think this could well replace some of my bigger folders. Absolutely fantastic work Jeff and Mike!

Even though you all know what they look like I had to include a pic of them anyway.

Nice photo. I like the tan cord on the black Izula. Let us know how the knives and fire starter work out for you.

Lucky Rats! I always wanted to go to Australia...

If you want an RC-5 you can have mine. All you have to do is pay shipping.

One catch, it comes attached to my hip:D

That's what I was going to say. We will make him a deal. We will bring one of each model (free!) as long as we can hand deliver them and he pays all freight costs (including us).

Wow, and that is a HUGE pond, I thought you were talking about the Atlantic until I saw your location. Nice score Mate. Excellent choices.

Thanks for the comments guys.

The RC-4 is exactly the size of knife I've been lacking. I'd previously been using a Camillus BK10 which is just too much of a bulldozer for most work.

Now I'm just trying work out which of the tension settings I want to use for the RC-4 sheath. What do you guys use mostly?

Unfortunately I need to go away for work for a while so it'll be hotel room adventures for these three for the time being. I'll be sure to post some more photos when I get back and get them to work.

Hmmm, tempting offer on the free knives. Maybe next time. :D It is tough already deciding which one(s) to put on the "next birthday/Christmas gift" list. Do I fill in the gap with the RC-3 or do I go bigger with the RC-6? Ahhh, it's a tough life...
