RC-4 Handles

Jeff,

Do you offer for sale the RC-3MIL micarta handles for sale separately? I like my new RC-4, but prefer a better grip of the canvas over the linen micarta.

I am not speaking for anyone at RC, but when questions about scales have come up before, the answer was no.

The scales are hand fitted to the knife during manufacture, so different ones might not fit perfect, so they do not offer just the scales on their own.

Right guys?

+1 on Tripton's answer.

I recall there being a question about RAT selling handles separately so people could swap out different colors and textures. Like Trip said, the handles are matched at the factory so it wasn't possible for them to sell the scales separately since then they wouldn't fit up to par with RAT's standards!

Well, I have had my RC-4 for a day and find is to be an easy carry and well designed. I initially found the handle to be a bit too smooth and small (as compared to my Chris Reeve Green Beret), but it does seem perfect for CCW. It'll replace my Emerson PUK for CCW.

Jeff: The sheath it simple the best....it so totally rocks! The fit and finish on my RC-4 is top notch. I'm thinking about getting my son an RC-3 for his birthday.
