somebody around here mentioned a leather sheath for the RC-4. can one of you guys point me in right direction to it. i have a " thing " for leather. thanks. paul
 
well the other option is to talk to Dan at JRE. I had him make a sheath for my TAK and it came out beautiful.
 
We considered it, but the costs of dies could not be overcome. The sales on the leather sheaths was not what I expected.

I guess most RAT people are Kydex people! :)
 
I think it's that the RAT sheaths kick ass compared to most manufacturer's, that most don't see a need to replace them.

IMO you'd get the same lackluster sales trying to sell kydex sheaths for most of Bark River's line.
 
I prefer having both. The kydex sheath for horizontal carry of the RC4 and the leather for standard carry. Since I dont carry the RC6 horizontal it is kind of a moot point, but a quality leather sheath would rock. I'll have to look into geting some leather.
