Hi all.

Got busy today with some mods for the RC 4 sheath. Version 1.1 was was a write-off, but version 1.2 came out ok. What do you think?

So in the pouch, which I think might be a little bit big, there is a small sharpening stone, small fishing kit, some duct-tape, needle and thread, safety pins, 5 meters of builders twine and some snare wire. The pouch is attatched with the screws I got with the molle clips. The webbing also goes around the back and would allow me to carry horisontally or vertically.

That looks nice! I'd be surprised if something similar wasn't in the works for later down the road, and if not then it should be!

That looks great! I love the idea of having my "survival" blades with a pouch on them.

gotta say I like it, simple, effective and not bulky, nice one.

Can we get a picture of the back side also or do you keep it a secret. What did you do for the different attachments ?

Good work fellow

Very good idea. We had about the same idea for the RC6 hard sheath and I have a proto of it to go with the MOLLE back we are also doing. But there is no reason that folks cannot fashion a good pouch like yours to carry all kinds of studff. It is easy to bolt it onto the sheaths which is another nice thing about the hard sheath systems. Do you by any chance know Anton in South Africa (RAT Cutlery dealer)?

I have the RC6 and It would a wonder in my opinion to have the same setup, a slim Kydex sheath, and removable (bolt in) pouch and a bolt in loop for a fire rod.

Love my RC6 but the sheath is not what I fancy really too large, would like a thinner Kydex one black or OD.

Any idea where to get a nice kydex sheath slim and discrete for my RC6 ?

Thank you for all the replies.

I will try for a picture later. The back is webbing in a H shape turned on it's side. The webbing thats holding the pouch onto the sheath loops around the back and is connected in turn by the vertical part of the H. This allow horisontal and vertical carry. Hope that maked sence.

Thanks Mike, Yes, Anton was the supplier of my RC 4. He did a great job too.

I can still fit the whole rig in my pants front pocket, it feels like a heavy wallet. :)

I've got a very similar micro version made up for a custom Uzula sheath - still small enough for neck carry

Thanks for the reply africa_slinger, kinda got the whole idea of the how of the attachment but not that well so i'll wait for a picture or even a breakdown of the assembly. But still have to say nice job its a very neat and tidy assembly you got there.
