RC-4 Review

Is there a past review on the RC-4 (Rat Cutlery). Looking forward to getting a fixed blade and have narrowed it down to either a:

Short Black Kabar Straight Edge
or
RC-4

It'll be used for general purpose cutting especially if the situation requires a lot of force. I love my Wally World Spydie but would be hesitant to use a folder for very aggressive cutting.

i just got my rc-4 in the mail yesterday, and i love it its a great knife, it fits my hand well, shaving sharp right out of the box. The fact that this knife is just about $100 is really nice too:D...get one:)
 
Oh geez, you guys had to do it, didn't you?! Always liked the rc-3, but the rc-4 seems like a better fixed size for this series of knives. This one guy sharpens one in a video and is able to cut toilet paper that is free hanging with it. Seems like one hell of a knife to me. Not outrageously priced either, seems like a good deal to me.

just wondering, should I order it direct from RAT Cutlery, cause I figure I should be able to get it at a better price from another dealer. Thanks.
 
I wouldn't buy direct from the company unless they offered a knife that'd dealers didn't have. It is $50 less online....why spend the extra dinero? Hope you like the knife, not sure if I'll wind up getting one or not.
 
RAT would rather have you buy from a dealer because they don't compete with them, that's why the prices are high. You won't be disappointed with it, plus there are different color schemes :D
