RC-4 Sheath Question

My recently arrived(previously owned) RC-4 has a good condition Kydex sheath.

While it holds the knife securely I prefer a leather or nylon-style sheath. Ones that carry the knife "lower" on the hip than the Kydex ones do. The lower hanging, the better.

I'm aware of the nice Sharpshooter leather sheaths on KSF and they are quality but can someone tell me of other sheaths that work well with this knife?
Looking for any and all options before I decide.

Also, if anyone here just wants a Kydex...for a leather...let me know.

The Sharpshooter sheath is great. You can't go wrong there.

I've heard a lot of good thinks about Martin Swinkles. I don't own any personally but his stuff is well thought out and comes with good looks to boot. He's active on some of the forums. Here's his site http://martinsheaths.blogspot.com/

You can get the RC-3 molle nylon back (fits the RC-4 kydex sheath) from ratcutlery.com. That will drop the top of the handle to the top of your belt. I have mine that way and love it.
 
Thanks. Looks like all I need is the Molle Back piece...as long as there's a belt loop at the top in the back.

In all the pics from front and side I cant tell if there is a belt loop on the back of it?? Is that what you're saying yours is like?

I can see where it works all kinds of ways with Molle clips but I just want it to to hang from a belt.

BTW, Martin makes great sheaths...but outta my price range at this time.
 
The guys at JRE Industries have an RC-4 and could surely whip up the sheath of your dreams.

I've been thinking about getting the Cricket for my RC-4 but want to see one up close and personal before deciding.

I've got lots of their stuff and know the quality to be excellent but really want to check the various aspects of the design.

By taking the molle strap on the back out of the top loop then threading under the other loops, you have your belt loop. You can also separate the velcro piece at the top and run it through there. I prefer the first method. I do it to the molle back on my RC-3 and RC-4. When the molle back for the RC-6 comes out, I will get one for it to.
