RC-4 sheath

I know that everyone loves the RC sheaths because on all the different options, but wondered if there was a way to attach a self made firesteel loop and sak pouch. Are the rivets a screw type construction where I can unscrew them, slip in the ends of the loop and re-screw them or will I have to punch new holes on the side and rivet on a loop? I will be getting the knife regardless but it just seems that the minute I get a new knife I mod something on it.

The rivets are screw-type and completely removable.

There are 10 different holes in the sheath for mounting options.
 
Awsome, I want one more and more every day (and the various pics aren't helping) I love the customization options on this knife like the screw apart scales so you can make your own out of wood, bone, G-10 or whatever. It would be cool if RC decided to sell seperate scales as well in different materials and colors. I usually never buy tactical knives, but this one just calls so badly. I guess I like the sheer simplicity and no frills desighn.
 
It is difficult to sell separate scales because of the manufacturing process. The scales fit so nice on your current knife because each set of scales is trimmed to that particular knife. This process yields the excellent fit and finish we have on our knives. If we sold separate scales there would be a chance that they might be high or low of the steel and not fit so well. But we are still thinking about it and maybe we can come up with something at a later date. Mike
