I really lookong forward to score an RC4 but im not sure which version. Earlier i had an Izula Kit, but it was too small for my hand (i loved the parts of the kit, was awesome)

I would love to carry the RC4 in the field with a drop leg extender, does the molle sheath fit a drop leg extender, any type?

Also good question which colour to choose, im in the army and i should take the black one, but that tan is so Cool, is the tan coat as durable as the black or green one?

Serrations, i like esee serrations cause i could sharpen them on a flat stone, but how thay perfrom in reality? I know regular (like spyderco) serrations always problematic for woodworks.

thanks

I have an RC 4 and yes it does fit a drop leg extender...as long as you have a place for the molle locks to go through and connect you are good to go.

i dont have any Experience with the Desert Tan version...mine is all black and i wouldnt change a thing...Being in the Army though i would definetly absolutely get the serrated version.

I don't know what type of drop leg rig you are running, but the ESEEs are pretty versatile as far as mounting options go.

Pick whatever color you like best. They all wear the same. They are quite duraable, but as with any finish, will wear over time. The ESEE serrations are the only serrations I would buy because of ease of sharpening as you mentioned.

Good choice on the 4, great knife.

All of the color coatings have the same durability. The desert tan would go well in the middle east.I bought one for an Army buddy of mine last year.

Thanks for the replys, i think this time the availability will decide what i get, i may take the desert tan serrated molle sheath version if i can.
