Hi Guys..
I'd like to show this sheath I just finished for the RC-5.
The design origins from the Ratweiler sheaths I used to make, but it works very good on the Five too.
The sheath has a kydex liner, and outers of wetformed halftanned leather.
Halftanned feels like veggie tanned, but is thinner, and has a core of rawhide. It is therefore harder to cut or puncture, and will keep it's shape better. It is very weather resistent. This combined with kydex makes for an extreme durable and sturdy combination.
Features:
The retentionstrap can be secured out of the way.
It has a drainage hole.
The pouch fits a sak or small leatherman.
It has a double beltloop for high or medium height carry.
It has a comfortable thumb push.
Retention can be adjusted by a screw.
I hope you like it.
All the Best from the Low Lands,
Martin
