New to forum. I ordered an RC-6 from New Graham Knives and it is on backorder. Anybody with RAT Cutlery here who can tell me when New Graham will get one in?

probably not. New Graham gets most of there stuff through another distributor i think? RAT cutlery may or may not be one of those.

In any event patience. These are busy people that cant afford to micromanage every transaction. That's why you buy them from a dealer. Which isn't to say RAT has bad customer service. You just asked Bill Gates to help install your OS is all. If you absolutely must have your knife in short order there are other retailers like knivesshipfree.com that would be happy to help. Or you could ask Newgraham knives themselves.

NewGraham is a great dealer to deal with. They list their stock online and respond to their customers whether it be via e-mail or calling up the shop. Hell, they even have a dealer membership here with BF and have a thread over in the dealer section which is constantly monitored and addressed by Mike or one of his employees. They are a fine bunch to deal with. :thumbup:

Have you tried e-mailing them, calling their shop or posting in their thread in the dealers subforum?
 
Thanks to all. Yes I have corresponded with New Graham, and they said getting one in was a little uncertain because the RAT folks were out of the country for awhile (Peru trip, I guess, based on the threads elsewhere in the forum). LOL about asking the RAT Bill Gates equivalent about my knife. Its ok if I get a tongue lashing every once in awhile. Keeps me tough and usually good for a laugh.

Don't worry Mike will find out and I am pretty sure he will hold one for ya if you ask. Great company to deal with and if you're ever in the area I suggest you stop buy, quite a selection.

Thanks HAK. Yes they have been very cordial and responsive. Heck I originally ordered an RC-5 and, after reading posts here, realized I had probably erred. They responded to my e-mail request to change the order to an RC-6 very promptly but told me they didn't have any in stock. They also told me I could cancel or get something else. I opted to stick with the RC-6 on back order. New Graham seems like a good dealer to me. Their prices are very competitive as well.
 
At the present time I show no open orders or back orders on our books for New Graham Knives.
 
That will change in a few mintues. BTW, just got a request for 100 engraved RC4's....Annie will contact RAT this morning.

The Guys are New Graham are good. A friend and I got out Beckers from them. Nice sellection of knives and flashlights for being a Pharmicy.

That's the State Department Bogota Colombia RFQ that every RAT Cutlery dealer is emailing me about. ;)
