Well looks like I'm going for the RC-6 + MOLLE Back + Pouch.

Is this set available as a "kit" anywhere or do I have to purchase all the items separately?

I'm only asking because the price for the whole thing exceeds the $200 mark!

OUCH

I got the ESEE 6 and the molle back from The Knife Connection. I didn't see the pouch, on their site. I'm just eagerly awaiting their arrival.

The knife connection does have the pouch. It is in the sheaths and carry accesories page.

Another option you might look at is the ESEE pack kit on the ESEE website.
your choice of ESEE 5 or 6, the pack kit - which is a roughly 8x4 molle compatible folding "wallet" with pockets, a fire kit, some ranger bands, a couple Aloksaks, and a diamond steel, all for just over $200 after shipping.

i think he meant the kit... the back and pouch all shipped together for 70 bucks... (just hte molle back and pouch)

Think he meant a 6 with the pouch and molle back already on it instead of buying them seperately.

Yeah that's what I meant... I just called it a "kit" for lack of a better word.

MOLLE Back & Pouch ........$60 S&H $8 $68
ESEE RC-6.......................$125 S&H $12 $137

$205 :barf:

My poor wallet.

No I know thats pricey! But you really should just get it, you'll feel better after a few paychecks I promise ;) I'm saving my pennies, nicks, dimes, and quarts myself. And IM NOT JOKING lol. Right now I usually set aside and break up my income for certain things, and I couldn't do it further for knives and misc gear I've been wanting to acquire for a while.

So logically while eating a sandwich in car, I thought to myself as I stared at my coin holder...what if I just save my change. lol. And surely, and steadily. I'm getting there.

My Cousin is 8 and loves to go back packing and hiking with his dad, hes doing recycling. I showed him a smaller north face pack, and hes saving for that too, as well, a 3 and izzie, cause hes small and doesn't actually need anything bigger. A eagle industries wallet, old GI water canteens, J&J standard first aid kit, fire steel, and a few other items he believes he needs and wants.

Hes a kid and doing recycling and yard work for people in his neighborhood, I say good for him :)

Just do it! Make it happen! ;) its worthhhh it.

Exactly - and that's why I went with the ESEE pack kit. Not as compact, but more goodies for the price.

check out knifeworks.com... they have the cheapest prices so far...

I got my RC6 from them for ~112.50 (shipped)...
