Might as well let the cat out of the bag but will not say when these will even be close to shipping. We came up with (Shon mostly) with a belt loop/clip add-on for the RC-6 sheath that allows it to drop lower when wearing on the belt (top of the handle rides above 1.5" above the belt). Piece bolts directly to the RC-6 sheath. Will also be building these same rigs for the RC-3 and RC-4 sheath. Nice system. Works good. Not for horizontal use.

Very cool Jeff. I guess I should have waited before having a drop loop sheath made for my RC-6! :) BTW, I don't mean to hijack here but can I order a Tek Lok off your site? Not many dealers seem to carry them anymore and I wanted to make sure they were still available before I placed an order.

great idea! I found difficult to use the standard sheath for belt carry and, since I did not like the RAT7 nylon sheath, this is what I did: my homemade dropleg RC6 sheath!

ambidextrous carry (see last photo), molle compatible (tested on a Maxpedition Falcon, also in the tip-up mode), all leather (3 mm and 5 mm thick)

Very nice leatherwork. Looks good and functional.

That is an excellent sheath, dilettante. I've been wondering when someone would try something similar. . .
