RC-6 sheath

Hi, I'm new here, so please excuse me if I say something idiotic. I recently purchased a RC-6, which I love. The edge is the sharpest I have ever had a knife come from the factory. The sheath however, I'm not crazy about. It's good quality, and I'm sure it works well for many people, but I generally like to put my knife on my belt, and it's not great for that. I'm aware you can thread paracord through the rivets, but it doesn't seem that secure and rides higher than I like. So my question is, Do you guys know of any sheaths made for the RC-6 that have a built in belt loop? I saw the sharpshooter sheaths for the RC-3 and RC-4, is there anything like that for the RC-6? Leather or nylon or kydex, I don't care, as long as it's decent quality. Thanks in advance, and forgive me if this is common knowledge.

Shon Rowen is working on a Kydex drop rig with belt clip that fasten to the existing sheath. Not sure when these will be ready to ship but they work great.

First off, welcome to the forum and the RAT pack!

Secondly, check out the givaway up in the stickies at the top, there's a giveaway up there for a beautiful leather rig for the RC-6.

Thirdlyly, RAT is working on a MOLLE setup like that for the RC-3 and 4 for the 6, not sure how far out that is, but it should be good.

EDIT: Disregard the red type, Jeff says kydex. He seems to know more about the product line than me somehow.:D

Wow, thanks for the fast replies! I'll look into that leather one, and maybe just wait to see what RAT comes up with, because I'm sure they'll do a good job.

or until the release of the new molle backing you could also Try a Spec -ops Small Survival sheath or Combat master,I keep my RC6 in the survival sheath on my belt and factory sheath mounted to a maxpedition Pack

I just built my own. It's a homely beast, but it works. I'll post pics when I've dyed the ugly off of it.:D

Indeed it does come with MOLLE locks. They are too low on the sheath to be comfortably attached to a belt in my opinion though.

I'm with Texas Tony. I love the kydex sheath, but it's going to stay on the Maxpedition pack. I need a waist sheath for hunting, camping, etc when the pack stays in the tent.

This RC-6 is just fantastic by the way. Wow.
