Rc-6

You didn't get yours ??????

Me neither (just pre-ordered one this week) :) :) :)

Wished I had news, but what I have is the same old story...sheathing. I think we are still looking at end-may for shipping.

The hard sheath is actually done and sitting on the shelf. It is the MOLLE adaptable back plate that is putting us behind schedule. I am currently making changes to the 4th proto type to send back to the maker so we can hopefully get this into production by the end of May. Thanks for your patience. Mike

Yep thanks. Unfortunately, my RC-6 is going to be missing out on some good trips this upcoming month. Please console it in your backroom and let it know that there will be other logs to split in the future :) :)

This RC-6 project has been a long, hard road. We'll get there...eventually, and it will be worth the wait.

We just appreciate you guys sticking with us throughout the delays.

Jeff

heck get the knives out .a hard sheath with eyelets is just fine with most people we will buy the perfect sheath later.btw i am buying an RC-6 at the atlanta blade show perfect sheath or not(that is if you have them).

ssonb
Sorry bro but you ain't buying nothing if RC does not release them.... Jeff/Mike/Rowen will not release the RC6 until the sheath issue is right ....

Yep textony it is up to them, but in my limtied thunkin punkin you have to buy the sheath extre anyhoo.i am already on the hunt for a superior quality kutter and i can just order a Busse on line it may cost more but dang it there it is.and besides i aint never cut anything with a knife holder.zip ties and para cord do wonders in adapting even non perfect sheaths, aint never seen anyone drool over a sheath that is only skin deep the real beauty lies within.

I think more RC6 pics are in order to help everyone along.

P.S Jeff/Mike, I just got a copy of your guys book, looks like a great read form what I have seen so far. Cheers, Nick.

well do what you gotta do...I have busse(no sheaths) and all brands in between and I can wait for the RC6 to be released with the perfect sheath... I love my blades but if the sheath is crappy I am disappointed overall, like my beckers....great blade ,crappy sheaths...I purchased all spec-ops for them or leather sheathing,I love the RC4 sheath and I can wait for the RC6 set-up and believe me it will be worth the wait... Take care TTD

We're hoping to be shipping some of the RC-6s without MOLLE back by then. But to be real honest with you we're still running behind on actual knife production. No excuses except we're just running behind due to growing pains. Sorry about this, guys. Shon and I were talking this morning and after we get the RC-6, RC-5, neck knives and TAK moving over the next couple of months we're going to back off on any new product for a while and let everything catch up. We've still got the small ax and folder in our minds and we haven't even begun the process on them. Again, growing pains are tough on getting new product out sometimes. We're also doing a TON of work for law enforcement right now, and to be honest it's more than we expected. Not complaining at all, just stating fact. Please hang in there with us 'cause we'll get there eventually.

It's great to hear business is strong, especially with the LE community. That says a lot about the quality of your knives.

I'm a patient man...I don't want to wait, but I can. In the end, it will be worth it!

Shon just called me on another issue as well. We're having problems getting the OD powder with the right texture, so that color for the RC-3 and RC-4 knives is having a slight delay on delivery as well. We're still looking for someone to make the powder though. If it ain't one thing it's another.
