rc hardness question

is anybody able to tell me the rc rating on the buck 279 420hc alpha hunter as well as the buck 883 code 3 crosslock? I'v been looking around for anything to tell me but can't find it anywhere.

According to the 2000 catalog, 420HC is hardened to 58 on the RC scale. The image below is from the catalog, sorry for the poor quality.

Dave is correct. The Buck specification for 420HC hardness is 58±1. (This is as tight a tolerance as the measurement technique allows.)

I've measured three different Buck 420HC blades dating from 1993 - 2007. Each has measured 59HRC. I'd say they are meeting their spec.
