I've been curious about this for awhile. And since this is the place for all things RAT, I figure I'll ask the question.
Any particular reason the RC3 & RC6 sheaths are molded plastic while the RC4 is kydex?
It seems to me once a manufacturing process is worked out, they'd all be the same (in this case molded plastic, since these came first with the RC3). So it's curious to me the RC4 sheath went kydex, then the RC6 to the molded plastic.
I figure a moderator or someone closer to the company would know.
