new to the forum scene. just wondering what the best way or technique to sharpen the serrated blade on my rc3. not just the plain part of the blade, but mostly i am concered with the serrations themselves. not sure the spacing they are at, but what i should look to get to sharpen them up.

thanks thanks

the little triangle lansky field hones do a good job w/ serrations, just choose the appropriate angle to use

I like a tapered diamond rod. It will sharpen serrations on any blade.

i always used those ceramic rods from those small lansky sharpeners...they pop out and i just use them like using a Q-tip in my ears...twist and push. those tapered diamond rods are good too!

next time dont get serrations on such a small blade, problem solved...LOL JK!

personally I don't even find the need... what I do use the serrations for (notching, scraping bark for tinder) really don't require a super sharp edge so I don't bother with em.
