how does the coating and spine hold up to those beatings? Does it show any chipping or denting? I really wanna get one of those things if I can just find the cash.

the coating is starting to wear a bit, but there is no deformity at all anywhere on the knife. It's ROCK solid.

Save up and get one. You'll NOT regret it.

nice video man! I was gonna ask about the coating but lazerboy beat me to it! Nice to know that even the coating holds up well on RC's knives!

Funny thing: someone called me while I was watching and I turned away to grab a piece of paper. The person on the other end interrupted our conversation to ask, "Is somebody there spanking a dog?"

When you just listen to the vid, it DOES sound like you're spanking the dog.
