Chopping a 15cm thick oak treebranch it was very hard so it took some time

On the dutch forum i wroth a review i place it here also using google translate i hope it turns out oke.

When the knife I had been sent home, I was curious, so the box was opened very rapidly and I must say that my first impression was very good though.
The knife is very nice in my hand it looks very solid, but what do you expect with a thickness of 6mm.
Of course the knife is suitable for the clumsy hack through walls than for the finer cutting jobs.

In the forest I have also done several things with such as chopping, batonnen, break and throw, this gave the knife no shrinkage and the cut was nice as he was.
Course, a little less sharp, but not really significant.
However, the coating began to wear off a little, but hey, what do you use this type.
But whether this is a point ... in my eyes so much.
The handle scales which eventually began to run loose, and since I have no keys I could not get gefixed

All in all I think a very fine blade work lompere
EDC is not, but I liked it very much.
I even had to snoop around to buy one yourself, but my wallet will not really cooperate.

I hope you enjoyed.

Please let me know what you think of the pictures

My RC-5 was the first RAT knife that I owned. It's my favorite of the 3 that I have now. It's built like a tank and will get you through what ever you need it to. It is heavy, and not much of an EDC, but out in the boonies in where it shines.

just because i find these nice:D
