RC6 Custom Sheath, Junglas and RC3-MIL

Thought you might like to see what came in the mail from Martin Swinkels. He did an incredible job on two sheaths for me: an RC6 and BK9. The workmanship is tremendous and not fully appreciated until you hold it in your hands. Nothing at all wrong with the stock sheath on the RC6 - this was just for fun. The real issue was the stock sheath for the BK9 which I found to be extremely loose and potentially hazardous. Sorry for the poor lighting in the pics - I just had to do it despite losing daylight. really nice sheath...

you know... i am so used to seeing the stock sheath with my rc6 that leather doesn't do it for me (yet)...

but it looks really nice though... thanks for sharing...
 
cool sheaths. oddly enough i'm fine with both kydex and leather, but somehow that even a bigger knife loses the intimidation factor a bit with a leather sheath and is more accepted by the sheeple
 
I am looking at some sheaths from martin as well, one for the izula and maybe one for my 4. He said there is a bit of a wait, how long did it take to get these from him? (Total wait time)
 
Martin is quite the craftsman. Pretty impressed with all the work he does. Some of it isn't for me as far as aesthetics, but the quality sure seems to be there.

It took a total of three weeks including a week for shipping.
 
Congrats to an awesome sheath, I especially like that he mix kydex and leather in his creations. Superb design, very nice!
 
that bk9 sheath is pretty cool lookin rig.i got a companion on the way.does he got knives on hand to build the sheats by or do you send your own?
