RC6 Molle locks?

I recently received my RC6 and couldn't be happier with the knife itself but the sheath Is a bit disappointing. Fit and finish wise its perfect but why is there only one place the molle locks can be attached? You cant put the locks up towards the top because the hinge hits where the sheath opens up to lock the beginning of the scales. You also cant attach the molle locks for horizontal carry.

It seems theres only one place to mount them and there Im kinda forced to belt carry the RC6 scales down because it doesnt ride low enough. Is this normal or did I get the wrong locks? I thought molle locks were supposed to allow such a wide range of mounting options. Is there any other locks that would work with this sheath? Perhaps the Tek-lok?

Besides that one little gripe I absolutely love the RC6, easily the most comfortable and indestructible feeling knife Ive ever held.

I fully agree with you also? I found by using the parscord it fits ok and is pretty comfortable. I don't like the idea of using the paracord and thought it odd that most people do carry on their sides using their belts but the sheath has no real good way of doing this except if you buy the belt clip for $20.00. The molle clips are worthless to me because I have no molle loops to connect to. I guess it's that military/survival thing. I will be getting another kydex sheath or making a new leather one myself. I love the knife but wish their was a non "survivalist sheath available.

yep the mollie locks work great on a pack or vest but for belt they leave alot to be desired. thats why i picked up the mollie back and pouch from rat, they make it easily the most versitile and cool sheath setup around.

The sheath as a system is amazingly versitle. I skip the locks myself. The clip, a tec loc, or the molle back are the way to go for sure

I don't care for the MOLLE locks much, either. I just put the belt clip back on mine. Got it from Two Wolves Outdoors.

With that and a Spec-Ops sheath I found on sale, my RC-6 is good to go.

Can someone post a picture of the RC-6 or 5 in the sheath with the molle back and pouch? How well do they work together and does the molle back work on a belt? I like the Spec. OPS sheath but not the velcro handle loop.
