RC6 Sheath Question

I was looking at your site today and notice under the RC6 there was a picture of the sheath. Is this what it is plained to look like, or was this just a prototype? It looks totally different than the pic's you have up of the RC3 and RC4 sheaths. Also will it be in that brown color or black like the others? Either way I look forward to the RC6 and have had it on pre-order for about a month now.
 
That's what it will look like. It looks just like the RC-3 molded sheath in coyote brown, except it's longer. It will initially come in coyote brown only and then later on we will probably sell some variations on the colors as we do the RC-3 sheaths.
 
We were thinking along the lines of florescent pink as the next color option after coyote brown :D
 
Pink will work if you have to go tactical at the Blue Oyster Bar. I am a child of the 60s and tye died or paisley would be groovy.
 
Pink or tye died would be sweet.
It would be sheeple friendly and it would really get noticed in the knife world.
 
I know you would, as would I. If for know other reason than to make one of those famous Warren Zevon "don't screw with me" statements.
 
Have you considered a diagonal velcro strap over the finger-guard, instead of the horizontal strap over the handle? I like the horizontal for the RC-4, but worried that the extra weight of the RC-6 might require the diagonal strap.

Good point. Mike and I have discussed this and thought about adding a snap to the molded part of the sheath for a diagonal strap. But after realizing the extra costs (and needing a snap on both side for ambi) we decided to stay with the friction fit and same setup as the RC-3/4. The 6 locks up nicely in the molded prototypes that I have.

Dude, don't you think a pretty pink, turquoise or fuschia sheath hanging off your 3,000 dollar anti-IR reflecting tactical MOLLE vest would look cool? Man, talk about setting a fashion statement! All the boys would like you, the women would like you, and you would be the sharpest thing on the whole tac team. Maybe even do the knife in a pink powder coat? Tony will buy one :D
