Ranger Knives RD-7:SOLD
This black epoxy coated 5160 blade is the flat/sabre ground version with orange scales that is/was(?) exclusive to Sage Creek Outfitters. Sheath is the standard black nylon one with velcro retention strap, and an accessory pouch with a fastex buckle.
This one needed a lot of work out of the box. I've ground down the sharp edges on the scales, and on the tang, so there are some places where the coating has been removed as a result. Reground the "edge" on a belt sander(yeah, it was bad enough to use quotes), but it could still use a good final sharpening. I used it in the yard once, and there is some wear on the coating that I've hopefully managed to capture in the pics.
SOLD$55
BM 220 fixed Resistor:
First production run #485/1000, 154CM blade with a "tumbled" or stonewash finish.
Lightly used, and has a few small scratches. I reprofiled the edge when I got it, and touched it up a few times on a Sharpmaker. Also replaced the crappy belt loop that came on the factory sheath with a large Tek-Lok, so it can be mounted vertically or horizontally, left or right-handed.
