Hello everybody. I just used some Klean strip to remove the coating off of my Ontario RD6 bush.
I realize now that Klean Strip contains Dichloromethane.
My question is, now that my blade is stripped, and has been polished by sanding, and has been washed in water, should it be safe to use generally and on food items? I think Dichloromethane degrades well in water, but I am unsure completely. I'm assuming the methanol has evaporated and or been washed away.
Any full blown chemists here have an idea? I only picked up a minor in the subject. I would really like some input.
MSDS for reference.
