Re Beet Patina?

Are you asking about using beet root to patina a blade? Or beet color (fabric dye)? Red beet color is typically a ph of 4.5-5.5 but is heat labile especially in the presence of Cu, Fe, Zn, rapidly breaking it down over 120*C.
