HI EVERYONE; MAYBE SOMEONE COULD HELP ME OUT WITH A NEW BUCK 110T "TRAIL OF TEARS" THAT I SAW ON EBAY. I WENT TO BUCK KNIVES SITE AND SEARCHED LIMITED EDITIONS AND CAME UP WITH NOTHING. JUST A SUGGESTION; ISN'T THERE SOME WAY AS CLUB MEMBERS WE CAN FIND OUT WHEN NEW "BUCK KNIVES" COME OUT BEFORE SEEING THEM ON EBAY? THIS WAS MEANT WITH ALL DUE RESPECT BUT IT IS QUITE A SHOCKER TO SEE YOUR FAVORITE KNIFE ON EBAY BEFORE YOU EVEN KNEW IT WAS AVALIBLE AND THIS KNIFE WAS ONLY ONE OF MANY LIMITED EDITIONS THAT I'VE SEEN,GOD BLESS TO ALL.

Please take off the caps lock. I hate to be a prick, but I have to skip posts like this as its too difficult on the eyes to even read

Hi Larry. I looked for that knife on eBay and cannot find it. I wanted to get a look at it. (can you help me?) AND I understand how you feel about this subject. It would be VERY nice if club members could get a "heads up" look of some kind (email / mail) on new issues. Maybe this is a special order and if so, I don't see how or why Buck would make us privy to every project that comes up. Our club newsletters do give us a lot of info. I suggested to Joe Houser awhile back about the possibility of sending members email updates to store specials / close-outs, etc... and he seemed to agree it would be nice. I think however, they all have a pretty full plate right now with the upcoming move and all. Hopefully this is a possibility for the future.

PS:
All caps don't bother everyone. I know you and know you aren't yelling as this usually indicates and (for my eyes anyway) it is actually easier to read...darn trifocals!!..LOL..:grumpy

HI DAN AND THE BAD GUY; SORRY FOR THE CAPS BAD GUY BUT DUE TO A NEW OCCULAR PROBLEM THIS IS THE ONLY WAY I CAN SEE THE TEXT WITHOUT USING SOME SORT OF MAGNIFYING GLASS TO TYPE, AND YOU ARE NOT BEING A P...K BY ANY MEANS. DAN, THE LISTING ON EBAY IS "TRAIL OF TEARS BUCK KNIFE #110T" LISTING # IS 2220336305 IT'S AN OUTSTANDING LOOKING 110 AND LIKE YOU SAID I'M NOT YELLING AT ALL WITH THE CAPS JUST ANOTHER ONE OF THOSE GETTING OLDER AND FALLING APART ITEMS TO DEAL WITH. GOD BLESS TO ALL.

I have checked all my catalogs and brochures and do not see the Trail of Tears 110 listed anywhere. The "T" after the 110 is probably the year mark (2003) and I would believe it to be a Special Project. In the past, John (BCCI Pres. and Newsletter Editor) has included listings of Special Projects in the Newslettter. If you read the Decemeber 2003 issue, on the second page of John's article, he mentions that Joe (Houser) is putting together a "rather large list" of Special Projects that will be included in the March Newsletter. I wouldn't be surprised to see the Trail of Tears mentioned as part of that list.

HI EVERYONE; I DID A LITTLE RESEARCH ON THE "TRAIL OF TEARS BUCK 110T" IT WAS A PROJECT DONE FOR THE "TRAIL OF TEARS MOTOR CYCLE ORGANIZATION" AND THERE WHERE 2003 KNIVES PRODUCED WITH THE ANVIL DATE STAMP ALL OF WHICH ARE SOLD. AS AN EX SHOVELHEAD H/D RIDER OF MANY YEARS AGO BEFORE ALL OF THE JOINTS IN MY LEGS AND FOOT ARE DEGENERATING DUE TO SEVERE DEGENERATIVE JOINT DESEASE AND KNOWING THE PERILS OF RIDING THE KNIFE WAS MADE IN MEMORY OF "MARK" WHO I ASSUME WAS TAKEN IN AN ACCIDENT. IT IS ONE OUTSTANDING 110 DONE IN OAK AND A ETHCHING ON THE BLADE AND OAK. SO NOW WE KNOW THE STORY OF THE "TRAIL OF TEARS 110T" I HOPE THIS WAS SOME HELP TO ANY ONE INTERESTED. GOD BLESS TO ALL

Hey...to whoever is interested...the Buck 110-t knife shown for sale on E-Bay is not a 110-t. I own a great condition 110-t and have been trying for months to find another one with no luck. The real deal Buck110-t has serations(sawteeth) on the end of the blade closest to the handle...t for tactical I presume.

Hey bbb4u...Here's a hint for you...if it doesn't have sawteeth serations on the blade end closest to the handle...it's pobably not a 110t...I know because I have one

Wow RDL, bringing a 04 thread back to the top is usually not considered the best forum activity. If you want to discuss the Trail of Tears 110 or the serrated blade designations lets start a new thread. I believe the Trail of Tears is a David Yellowhorse special, not found in the catalog.

I going to lock the thread to let it die a decent death. RDL I see you are a new poster, unless its really relevant or super important really old threads should remain in the past and you should start a new thread instead.
