fantastic, a reply from the gaffer himself. Also in my collection is a 112fg 110, 124, vanguard and caper. A couple of further questions though.
1) Why do you polish the bolsters on some knives after fitment to the knife? I find it leaves a slightly "scruffy" look to the blade (sorry CJ)
2) If I sent you my 110, could you replace the blade with damascus or bg42 (undecided which yet) ? and what would the cost be.

3)Can we get any special edition knives here in the UK.

Thanks for a fine product.

Question 1: Some knives are meshing a satin finished blade with mirror polished bolsters. Where those two finishes meet is always a touchy situation.

Question 2: Yes we can replace the blade in a 110 with either BG-42 or Damascus. I will email this thread to Joe for cost info.

Question 3: I am getting contact information on our UK distribution to try to get you some direction on specials in the UK. I must say I love countries I can visit and still read the street signs...

Andy,
In regards to the blade change out on your 110, We do still offer that service. The cost is $30 plus shipping. We do not presently have any damascus blades but hope to have them by the end of the month.
I can give you more specific details if you don't mind sending me an email.
Hope this helps,
