Hey everybody, I'm looking to have a few TL-29's re-covered in either wood or bone. I've hit up Glenbad in the recent past but I know he is very busy. Is there anyone else doing good work on re-covers? Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!

Signalprick Signalprick if his books are open. He did an incredible recover for me.

Jason Signalprick Signalprick does excellent work, as does @jsdistin . I'd use either of them without hesitation.

Gentlemen,
Thank you for the recommendation! At this time my books are closed. Not sure when or if I will reopen for recover work. Maybe one more batch in a month or 2?

Dang Jason - I was just getting ready to recommend you. When/if you open your books let us know.:)

Thank you Ed. Will do. One of my tenets when I got into this was to be able to provide my service in a timely manner. This means for me not overbooking. So I want to take a bit of a break after this current batch to focus on learning to grind and HT blades so I can transition into making my own customs. If I keep booking recovers I feel like I would be violating my tenet if i'm not working on customer knives whenever I'm in the shop. I imagine though, regardless of how the grinding and heat treating go I will take on one final batch of recovers before I fully make the transition.
