Pawing thru the over-stuffed musty closet I plowed up a spike clone. Branded: Eader Surgial Steel Taiwan. Brilliant liner lock, 4.58 ounces, 9.25" overall when open, aluminum scales, partially serrated blade, adjustable pivot and screw construction, tip-down carry oriented silver pocket clipm thumb stud opener for righties, smooth blade action, great lockup and lanyard hole. Looks about as much like an exclamation mark as it does a folding knife.
As a gateway knife it led to me buying two actual Boguszewski designed Benchmade Spikes years later. Back in the early days, when I was trying to find what I liked by having it in my hand, it was a guilty pleasure.
