Re-handling a Basic...advice sought

Well, it's moving time again, and when I pulled out my knife box of projects, I discovered a forgotten handleless Basic 9 I picked up a while back. The tang is still fully intact, but the rubbery handle was apparently carefully removed before I got it.

So...does anyone have any suggestions (or inspirational pictures) for rehandling a Basic? Would, perhaps, a more rodent-like current production handle fit? Or maybe a carefully crafted micarta fitting? Any other suggestions?

I'm lazy but there was a recent thread where someone rehandled a Basic 5 IIRC, and it was SCHMOKINNNN!!!

In July, Ronybear posted some great pics of a customized Bumble Bee. Unfortunately, he took the pictures down.

Jay Maines at Sunrise River Customs rehandled a Camp Tramp for me out of fibermascus with an integral guard. I love it and his craftsmanship is superb. I'm afraid my pix of it are gone, but here's a thread describing it.
