I recently had to cut down a tree in my yard, and in the process if cutting it up, I broke the handle. It is a 2 1/2 lb collins axe. My problem is that I can find replacement handles, but they are so rough-it would be splinter city. Also, I do not want fiberglass, or to have to sand down the handle-I just want to replace the handle with more or lesss the same thing. Thanks for your help, Joe
