Re-handling an M3 knife?

Hi All,

Quick question - at an estate sale the other day I purchased an M3 knife and M8 scabbard for $10.00. The M3 was stored in a box in a damp basement and it seems the leather washers that made up the grip rotted away. Does anyone know of someone who can replace the leather washer grips for this knife?

Sure - I'd be willing to learn if you'd like to walk me through it! I guess I was looking at the pommel and was scratching my head as to how I would get it off and then back on again.

There should be a pin holding the pommel on. You would have to drive/drill that out.
